Meet Emma Peri, a dynamic LGBTQ artist, singer-songwriter, musician, and actress hailing from the vibrant city of Gibraltar. With a lifelong passion for music, Emma began her singing journey at the tender age of four, captivating audiences worldwide with her exceptional talent.
Her dedication to her craft led her to train under the guidance of Christian Santos at the Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts (GAMPA). At just 15 years old, she achieved remarkable recognition by winning 1st place in the intermediate section. Emma continued to shine, competing in local competitions, securing bursaries for Most Promising Vocalist in the 2017 GIBFYM (Gibraltar Festival for Young Musicians), and earning several prestigious medals.
Currently pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre in the UK, Emma juggles her studies while performing gigs in Spain and Gibraltar during her breaks from university. Recently, she was cast in the captivating musical “We Will Rock You” by Ben Elton, which enthralled audiences at the Gibraltar theatre in 2022.
Emma’s artistic journey is enriched by her association with Happy Sounds Productions in London, where she signed on as a promising artist. Her debut single, “LIES,” in collaboration with JBAX, made its grand debut in September 2021. Emma’s musical prowess also caught the attention of BBC INTRODUCING, as her single “Running” with BOISYCO was featured on BBC Surrey & Sussex.
As an artist, Emma’s mission is to inspire others through her music, drawing from her personal experiences to connect with listeners on a profound level. Her passion for touching lives through melodies continues to shape her journey, with regular releases planned for the future, including exciting collaborations with JBAX & BOI SYCO & HOUZEWORKZ
