This song is about losing control of your mind and how there can be no off button. The title “running” depicts a mind on flight or fight mode, and how you yourself feel that you’ll do anything to snap out of it. This song is a special one as I myself have struggled for years with my mental health. Going through past traumas allowed my mind to spiral and feel as if I needed to keep running from the trauma that lives inside my mind.
