Dancing with the devil is a song that is very relatable to a lot of people who have faced struggles in their lives. Although Demi Lovato wrote It about her own struggles with substance abuse, it is relatable to anyone who has suffered in one way or another, even mental health issues. Due to this I instantly felt connected to the song and wanted to cover it. I chose to produce it in a deep house style so that the song wouldn't lose a lot of dark undertones. Although it is still a house track, the flowing synths and chord minor combinations allow it to still feel almost hypnotising.
